WWE News: Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger break character, admit they are telling stories as a response to Glenn Beck

WWE personalities Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger delivered a promo and then stopped before it was revealed that they were standing in front of a green screen. They identified themselves by their real names Wayne Keown and Jake Hager as they stated that they are in the entertainment business.

"Everything we do with our characters is designed to tell stories," Keown said. "Right now the story we are telling is that Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger are using the current, relevant, and topical story of immigration to target the WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio, also a character played by my friend Jose Rodriguez. Former WWE Champion Sheamus posted the following photo on Twitter of the new WWE Championship with Shamrocks sideplates. It has been reported that the sideplates will change depending on who is holding the title. Currently the title features the brahma bull emblem.

Former WWE Diva Maryse announced last night on Twitter that she and her long-time boyfriend, WWE Star The Mi are now engaged. She tweeted:

WWE took a step forward with the Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter acts by adding three new videos to the "We The People" Youtube page that feature both men.

WWE News: More details on The Rock being advertised beyond WrestleMania 29

WWE issued an email to fans in St. Louis on Thursday morning that advertises The Rock front and center for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. "St. Louis gets Extreme for the First Time Ever!" reads the caption under Rock's photo. "Led by the WWE Champion The Rock." 

WWE News: Jack Swagger notes

Jack Swagger is not advertised for the weekend live events. However, he remains advertised for Monday's Raw, Tuesday's Smackdown, and upcoming live events and future television tapings.

The WWE website has yet to address the issue of Swagger's arrest on DUI, marijuana possession, and speeding on Tuesday night in Biloxi, Mississippi. The only statement was issued to TMZ on Wednesday when a spokesman stated that Swagger is responsible for his own actions. I am curious to see

WWE News: WWE wellness policy gives WWE the right to fire Jack Swagger over arrest

WWE's Wellness Policy as listed on their corporate site does grant WWE the right to terminate Jack Swagger's contract for his recent arrest for marijuana possession. Section 14 of the policy reads:

"Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal.

In addition to the penalties that may be imposed pursuant to his/her contract with WWE, a violation of this Section 14 may also be treated as a positive test for drugs prohibited by this Policy and therefore, subject to the penalties set forth in Section 15 of this Policy." WWE Star Jack Swagger Arrested!

WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi according to a report released by TMZ.com. After leaving the SmackDown taping Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi he was pulled over for speeding after allegedly driving under the influence. Swagger was taken to the local sheriff's deputies and later released.

He has been charged with DUI, marijuana possession, and speeding -- all misdemeanors.

WWE told TMZ.com "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
